The following is the first part of the April 19, 2011 CBE board meeting. Unfortunately, we were only able to tape part of the meeting due to its length and other technical issues. We anticipate having full postings in the future. Although the majority of the RAM debate was not filmed, we took detailed notes. 3:05 – Declaration of pecuniary interest and explanation by Chair Cochrane of what that means
5:55 – Agenda amendments, including decision not to not waive procedures to allow the capital budget to be taken off the consent agenda
9:25 – Motion by Trustee Taylor to add an action item to the agenda prior to RAM debate for clarification of pecuniary interest related to resource allocation to schools and budget 18:42 – Trustee Taylor’s final statement in the debate declaring that she will have no other choice but to remove herself from the budget debate unless the motion passes
22:00 – Debate as to whether Helen Mowat’s request be granted that she be allowed 5 minutes for her stakeholder report at this meeting and all future meetings rather than 3
